Helen Jones holds an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art. She spent many years in Oregon, where she established Pine Island Press, a small press specializing in publishing photography and art zines. Incandescent, PIP's primary publication, is a bi-annual zine showcasing emerging photographers working with color analog film. Helen's aesthetic is one of things built up unintentionally and of imprints left behind. Her photographs explore interactions between people and places. She never misses a chance for a road trip, dislikes rust in her cast iron, and salts just about everything. She can be found on Instagram at @helenjonesphotographs.
